Privacy policy

This policy explains what Haven collects when you book a stay or contact a house, how we use it, and the choices you have. Last updated 1 October 2026.

What we collect

When you send a booking request we collect your name, email address, phone number, dates, number of guests and any notes you add. When you send a message we collect your name, email address and the message itself.

How we use it

We use your details to answer your request, confirm and manage your stay, and send the practical information you need before you arrive. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Your request goes to the team at the house you chose. When a stay is confirmed, the payment provider that takes your deposit receives the details it needs to process it.

Cookies and storage

The site stores your theme (light or dark) and motion preference in localStorage under the keys theme and motion, so the next visit opens the way you left it. We do not use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for six years for tax purposes. Messages that do not lead to a stay are deleted after 24 months.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to privacy@example.com and we will reply within one month.
